Nanda’s Walking Paws - Payment Policy, Contract & House Keys

During our complementary consult, we ask that an extra set of keys be provided to Nanda’s Walking Paws along with completed service agreement; further details pertaining to your pet's care will be determined and agreed upon at that time.

• *Payment is expected on or before the first scheduled visit occurs.
• *First time clients are offered a 50% deposit option during our initial meeting and must satisfy the remainder of payment upon first pet sitting/dog walking visit.
• *You may pay through Pay Pal - Debit Card or Credit Card (VISA or MasterCard) for your convenience. Simply sign up for an account and once your visits are confirmed you may purchase your visits.

House keys, when not in use, will be kept in lock-box at our office, which is coded to assure anonymity, Keys will be returned to you upon completion of our agreement unless continuous service, such as daily dog walks, is contracted. A free 'key keeper' program is available, where Nanda’s Walking Paws retains your key for future services, or possible lockout service, if required.

Notice of Others in Your Home

If it is anticipated that other people will be entering your home or 'stopping by' for any reason during and/or throughout Nanda’s Walking Paws pet sitting/dog walking assignments; We require advance notice in order to ensure the safety and quality of service Nanda’s Walking Paws provides.

In the event that someone else besides Nanda’s Walking Paws pet sitters enters your home and/or property during the pet owner’s absence, any and all responsibility on the part of Nanda’s Walking Paws becomes null and void as per our waiver of liability. *Such unexpected situations can lead to liabilities such as - personal safety, not only for the sitter but for the pet and the home as well. - client agrees to not hold Nanda's Walking Paws or any member of the team liable for any mishaps.

Pet Sitter Support and Emergency Backup

Not all pets are eligible for this service. Nanda’s Walking Paws has arranged for qualified substitutes to care for your pets in the event of personal incapacitating illness or unexpected accident, and consider these professional pet sitters as an important part of my service to ensure that your pets receive optimal care at all times.

Aggressive dog disclaimer –

This letter serves to confirm the existing aggressive pet policy for all services provided by Nanda’s Walking Paws. Our experienced caregivers will not care for pets who display aggressive tendencies or behaviors. Such behaviors, even if only displayed once, compromise not only caregiver safety, but also the safety of other innocent animals and individuals. If, at any time, our caregivers hold a reasonable belief that your pet’s behavior presents a threat or danger, our caregivers maintain the right to refuse or immediately terminate any service. Our caregivers will promptly contact you at the time the decision to terminate services is made.

If an incident occurs after the caregivers have decided to terminate services, but have not yet sufficiently distanced themselves from your pet, Nanda’s Walking Paws disclaims all responsibility for any medical bills or other damages incurred as a result of the incident.

Our caregivers will promptly report any service termination to a Nanda’s Walking Paws certified trainer. The certified trainer will contact you to schedule an evaluation. During the evaluation, the certified trainer will determine, based on his or her discretion, whether your pet is, in fact, showing signs of aggressiveness. After the evaluation, the certified trainer will recommend whether services should be resumed in a limited capacity or permanently discontinued. Within one business day of receiving that recommendation, Nanda’s Walking Paws will advise you of its decision.

If Nanda’s Walking Paws decides to permanently discontinue services, any unused prepaid visits will be refunded to you within a reasonable time. However, it is important to note that the client will still be charged for the visit made and for every thirty minute increment thereafter. This is to compensate the sitter for the time spent trying to enter the premises upon the client’s request. For example, if the sitter attempts to enter the premises and is immediately met with previously unseen aggressive behavior by the pet, the sitter will leave the premises and contact the certified trainer to evaluate the situation. If it is determined that a visit will not be possible due to aggressive behavior the sitter and certified trainer will be still be compensated for visit as stated above for the time spent trying to evaluate the situation.

Not every dog is a perfect match. Nanda’s Walking Paws enjoys doing business with you and caring for your pets. However, if, at any time, Nanda’s Walking Paws is unable to continue to do business with you, it sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
